Welcome to Saint Brown. By using the Saint Brown app, website, public pages, or API-backed features, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Use of the Website and API

You may use Saint Brown for personal, non-commercial movie discovery, watchlist, Watchparty, and Theater group planning. You agree not to misuse the app, disrupt the service, automate abusive activity, scrape excessively, bypass access controls, impersonate others, or interfere with normal operation.

Accounts

Saint Brown may allow guest accounts and email-connected accounts. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not choose usernames or content that is abusive, hateful, deceptive, infringing, or otherwise harmful.

Entertainment Information

Saint Brown displays movie and entertainment-related information for discovery and demonstration purposes. Some information, images, posters, credits, release dates, or provider data may come from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or subject to change.

TMDB Attribution

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Intellectual Property

The Saint Brown name, custom code, design, layout, and original project features belong to the project creator unless otherwise stated.

Movie posters, images, metadata, cast information, crew information, and other third-party entertainment content belong to their respective owners or providers.

Watchparties, Theaters, and User Content

Users may create Watchparties, Theater groups, chats, notes, RSVPs, votes, public links, and other content. You are responsible for the content you submit and the links you share. Do not submit illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, threatening, spammy, or infringing content.

Theater admins may remove or block members from their Theater. Saint Brown may remove content, restrict access, or disable accounts if needed to protect users, comply with law, or keep the service working.

Public Links

Some Watchparty pages can be shared publicly. Anyone with the link may be able to view public invite details. Do not share a public link or PIN with anyone you do not want to have access.

Notifications

Saint Brown may send push notifications or service messages for features you enable, such as daily swipes, Watchparties, Theater activity, votes, invites, and reminders. You can manage device notification permissions through your device settings.

No Warranty

Saint Brown is provided "as is" and "as available." The site and API may change, break, go offline, or be discontinued at any time. No warranties are made about availability, accuracy, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the creator of Saint Brown is not responsible for damages, losses, or security issues arising from your use of the website or API endpoints.

Account Deletion

Saint Brown may provide in-app account deletion tools. Deletion is intended to be permanent and may remove app data such as watchlists, libraries, bookmarks, Watchparties, Theater memberships, notifications, and device records, subject to operational, security, or legal retention needs.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Saint Brown changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
